Im in SC i was wondering is it legal to go to a community college to work towards a degree in nursing in sc. Whats the legal age? Is working towards a ADN hard? I know it takes two years, but I am willing to work towards it. Afterwards I plan own going to a university to get my bachelors with my high school class. ~An authentic ADN please answer my question~

yes, if your high school or current school allows it as a dual enrollment. Since you're still in high school, I suggest that you finish up your years loaded with AP courses. you need to finish nursing prerequisites before you enter any nursing school. some nursing prerequisites that are AP courses are: AP psychology, AP statistics, AP English, and AP chemistry. other high school courses that will help you are: sociology, physiology, foreign language, communications, health, anatomy, and economics. you should also try out other AP courses too.

ADNs may take more than the typical 2 years. that's because you need to finish the rest of the prereqs for nursing school and the actual nursing program may take 2-3 years.

No you probably cant. Because there is an age requirement to be a nurse. It is either 18 or 19 I think. So colleges won't accept someone at age 16 because in 2 years you might still not be old enough to take the licenses exams and get the RN license to work.

You might be able to do prereqs. It depends on the college and what your State Board of Nursing has to say.
