Does anybody know what the exact starting pay is for a new grad RN in southwest Florida at the Lee Memorial Health system? Also, how much of a raise do you get for having your Bachelors degree and how much does it go up for someone with 2 years of experience working?? Please help, it is very important!!

The likelihood that you're going to get someone to read your question who lives in SW FL and works in the Lee Memorial Health System is pretty slim. Nobody is going to show up and say that they pay exactly $25.72 per hour or something like that. It's just fairly common for a new grad RN working in a hospital to make around $25-30 per hour. If you hold a BSN over an ADN, you might get a dollar or two more per hour (the difference is not as much as you would suspect). Work experience of less than 5 years is not going to make a big difference either, maybe another couple of dollars per hour, max.

And not all RNs work full time, either, which is why I do not quote annual salaries but instead choose to focus on hourly wage. Many nurses work 30-36 hrs per week because there are plenty of facilities in the world that give nurses full-time benefits packages even if they don't do 40 hours per week. It also gives nurses the flexibility to pick up extra shifts or stay late on a shift to earn overtime or bonuses, and they can boost their salary that way too.
